Both the Rams and the Rovers were in action today with the Rams playing Echuca United and the Rovers playing Berrigan at their respective home grounds.

Below are the results separated into the categories of Rams Football, Rovers Football, Rams Netball and Rovers Netball.

Rams Football Results

Seniors lost 13.4 – 82 to 12.8 – 80
Reserves lost 15.9 – 99 to 3.3 – 21
Thirds  lost 9.15 – 69 to 1.0 – 6
Fourths lost 8.4 – 52 to 0.7 – 7

Rovers Football Results

Seniors lost 19.10 – 124 to 13.11 – 89
Reserves lost 5.8 – 38 to 4.3 – 27
Thirds – Did not play
Fourths won 11.10 – 76 to 0.1 – 1

Rams Netball Results

A Grade lost 49 to 48
B Grade won 34 to 30
C Grade lost 60 to 36
C Res lost 34 to 30
17 and Under lost 33 to 28
15 and Under won 40 to 25
13 and Under lost 23 to 17
11 and Under won 14 to 1

Rovers Netball Results

A Grade won 35 to 26
B Grade lost 46 to 25

Conclusion

The Rams Seniors fell just short of winning but the signs are good for a better season than last year, the Rams led by 10 points at 3QT and could of lost in a blowout after Echuca United set up a comfortable lead but they fought back to lose by just two points.

Rams Netballers had a tough day only winning three of their matches.

The Rovers Footballers were unfortunate to come away with only one win from today’s three matches.

The Rovers netballers had a good day with five wins from the six matches that were played today.
