The rain returned to Deniliquin yesterday with 7.2mm of rain falling in town making it three straight days of rain that amounted to over 5mm.
122.2mm of rain has fallen in Deniliquin over the course of this year so far, it is still 10mm below average up to this point of the year which is 132.3mm.
The good news is that the current rainfall total of 59.4mm is a new Weatherzone record (records kept since 1998) with the previous record being 52.8mm which was set in 2010 and there is still two thirds of the month to go to increase this new record too.
Rain under 1mm could fall like today for several days more whilst the wind will be blowing 20+ kph winds until Friday where the wind will stay between 10kph and 20kph for several days with the highest speed expected to be 18kph on Saturday.
Friday to Sunday and next Tuesday are the days where residents can expect mostly sunny conditions whilst Thursday and Monday are expected to have mostly cloudy and cloudy conditions.
We hope Deniliquin residents enjoyed the rain and may we get sunnier conditions sooner rather than later before a return to some more rain.
