Rain fell again today with another 15.4mm falling around town before the rain cleared in the afternoon.
With Sunday delivering 17.2mm of rain, the total amount of rain over the last two days was an impressive 32.6mm.
Residents are absolutely delighted with the rainfall which was much needed as the total of rainfall in Deniliquin for 2016 is now 4.4mm more than what it was at this time last year.
There is a 30% chance of showers tomorrow morning and winds will start dying down on Friday morning with the wind not expected to top 12kph on the day compared to the 30kph winds we’ve been experiencing in recent days.
As we finish this report on the two days of rain, DNS offers another picture taken by Dan Clark which once more shows the rain wetting the ground that so needed a good drink and we hope the rain comes back again soon.
