Deniliquin in July

July 31 2018

Deniliquin has had a below average month of rainfall with 15mm of rain falling during the month.

The long term average rainfall for the month is 29.6mm, based on that we have received just over 50% of what the town usually gets.

There is an 88.6 difference between rainfall at this point last year and now.

The town has been slightly colder in the mornings but has been more than a degree warmer during the day.

We wish the news the better for everyone and we take no joy reporting how things are but we want people to be informed about how bad things are.

The winds rose around town at around 4pm with gusts reaching 70km/h and by 4:19pm it was lights out for 1153 power customers.

After news was posted, our FB page was swamped with comments as word of developments was passed around.

At 6pm the remaining 350 started to get their power back on and life started to return to normal, right in time for everyone to enjoy dinner.

1980’s Deni RSL Coasters

July 8 2018

Those who like to collect Coasters can grab 17 Deniliquin RSL coasters for $12 (including P&H).

The 17 appear to be from throughout the 1980’s and we purchased one of the sets to scan ten of them so you can see them in detail.

The best ones to us are the Christmas ones though the Bicentennial one was pretty nicely designed.

As mentioned earlier, these and others can be grabbed for $12 all up but keep your eyes out as you could see them without a buy it now price and may win an auction at $6 including P&H.

We hope that you enjoy what you see below.
