Due to the virus, Rovers Seniors and Reserves teams in Football and Rovers A Grade, B Grade, C Grade and C Reserves are unable to play in competition this year.

But kids are able to and so the Rovers taken on Jerilderie in Round 5 of competition at Jerilderie.

Football

Thirds won 6.8 – 44 to 4.6 – 30
Fourths won 12.16 – 88 to 0.1 – 1

Netball

Under 17’s won 52 to 29
Under 15’s won 49 to 7
Under 13’s won 48 to 0

Conclusion

It was a clean sweep on the weekend, if we were the Portland Mavericks back in the 1970’s we would be getting out our brooms and wave them around which would probably now be deemed disrespectful.

There is just one more round to go before the finals.
