Conclusion
The overwhelming majority thinks Sports Talk should expand over Spring/Summer, we are open to suggestions on that front.
Repeating music is a major source of unhappiness from local radio listeners, they also want more Modern Rock music in the music, these are points anybody wanting to make a local station should take aboard in their quest for popularity, current stations 102.5 and 2QN may also take down notes on poll results now that ACE Radio has become major shareholders of both stations.
Just over half the voters think the Major Projects Program spread its cash rightly, it will be interesting to know from the ‘No’ camp why they disagree it could be for reasons like over half the cash went to Deniliquin or went to local spots that don’t need it etc.
Aussie Rules grabbed just under half the votes to be Deniliquin’s favourite local sport but Fishing’s second place finish is interesting and it would be quite something to revisit in several months time and see if it is still second and if it grabs a bigger share of the vote.
New poll questions will be available tomorrow, if anyone has sensible questions that want polled please let us know.
