Mental Health issues is something that people around the world are facing more and more each day from Anxiety to Depression and much more and it is now good to see that those who are under 18 years old will shortly have a new service in Deniliquin to fight it.
Next Wednesday (April 6) sees Intereach launch their new Family Mental Health Support Service and it is called ROAR (Reach Out And Relax).
The ROAR program has been designed to help improve the emotional health and wellbeing of children and youth under 18 years old who are showing the signs of or at risk of developing a mental health issue.
The launch will be attended by Health Minister (and local Federal member) Sussan Ley with the launch running between Noon and 1pm and there will be light refreshments available for those who attend the launch of this important service that will have great benefits for years to come.
The Intereach Deniliquin Neighbourhood Centre is located on the corner of Napier and Trickett St’s and further details on next week’s launch can be found on the event page on this link.
