The wait for the all clear on the Blue-Green Algae threat on the Edward River and it’s branches continues.
The DPI has issued an update with the situation remaining steady on Red Alert, this is bad for those who were hoping the Algae would be cleared to enable river use once again.
Residents are advised once again to not touch the water from the Edward River and Farmers are advised to watch their properties for any sign of Blue-Green Algae, it is also recommended that animals should not drink or bathe in the Edward River and it’s branches.
