The Rams hosted Moama whilst the Rovers travelled down to Strathmerton for Round 5 action.

Results as usual are split into the categories Rams Football Results, Rovers Football Results, Rams Netball Results and Rovers Netball Results followed by our conclusion where we tally up the wins to see if the Rams and the Rovers win the day overall.

Conclusion

The Rams Football sides had a bad day overall with all four sides losing to Moama.

The Rams Netball sides had a tie overall with four wins and four losses out of the eight matches played.

The Rovers scored an overall tie against Strathmerton with two wins and two losses from their matches.

The Rovers Netball sides won the day with six wins out of the seven matches played.

We’ll be back in two weeks (May 20) with all the results from Round 6 when the Rams take on Numerkah and the Rovers take on Berrigan.

The Rams hit the road today to play Congupna whilst the Rovers hosted Mathoura down at Memorial Park.

Conclusion

The Rams Football sides returned home with a draw as both teams won two games apiece.

The Rovers Football sides won the day by winning three out of their four matches and Winding Creek Photography & Art taken plenty of pictures of the action including some pushing & shoving.

The Rams Netball sides won the day by winning five of their seven matches.

The Rovers Netball sides won the day with four wins out of the seven matches played.

Sports Talk (27/4/17)

After spending the past two rounds at home, The Rams will be dusting off their Willie Nelson tape on Saturday and playing ‘On The Road Again’ as they travel down to Congupna which is located a few kilometres south east of Shepparton North.

The Rovers got to put their feet up last weekend and are back in action at home against Mathoura and after the match Rovers fans, players, officials and those looking for a good time will be doing some boogying, eating and more in the Rovers Clubrooms when they attend the Ruby Ball.

Seniors have 2 wins and 1 loss (7th on the ladder)
Reserves have 0 wins, 2 losses and a forfeit (9th on the ladder)
U/17’s have 3 wins, 0 losses (2nd on the ladder)
U/14’s have 3 wins, 0 losses (2nd on the ladder)

Conclusion

Both the Rams and the Rovers are doing well at this stage of the season but their opposition may throw in a surprise or two on Saturday as some of the teams are close to their opposition on the ladder.

Weather for the matches will be good as it is expected to be 20 degrees for the Rovers games and 19 degrees for the Rams games which will please the seniors as they get to play in the warmer temperatures of the day.

The Rams hosted Rumbalara on the weekend in Round 3 action of the Football and Netball season.

The Rovers had the week off whilst we were also sidelined with illness and so we apologize for the lateness of Sports Talk.

Conclusion

The Rams Football sides won the day by winning three out of the four matches played.

The Rams took on Finley at home on Good Friday and the spotlight was on the Rovers as they travelled to Yarroweyah and spent Easter Saturday in competition there.

Overall a fantastic round of matches played by both the Rams and the Rovers.
