RFS coming to Lions Club Market

UPDATE: The RFS will now be at the Truck Show on September 8 instead of the market.

The local Rural Fire Service (RFS) will be operating a stall at the next Lions Club Market which will be held on August 25 at Waring Gardens.

It is all part of the RFS’s ‘Get Ready Weekend’ and they will have a fire truck there but that’s not all that will be there as there is face painting, a sausage sizzle, a raffle, packs that will help families prepare for the fire season and goodies for the kids.

Buy a Bale will be benefiting from the proceeds so make sure you get something to eat and buy a raffle ticket or two.

We hope that the weather will be good on the 25th and also hope that everyone will have a great time at the market and at the stall.

Deniliquin in July

July 31 2018

Deniliquin has had a below average month of rainfall with 15mm of rain falling during the month.

The long term average rainfall for the month is 29.6mm, based on that we have received just over 50% of what the town usually gets.

There is an 88.6 difference between rainfall at this point last year and now.

The town has been slightly colder in the mornings but has been more than a degree warmer during the day.

We wish the news the better for everyone and we take no joy reporting how things are but we want people to be informed about how bad things are.
