August ends wet

September 1 2018

3.4mm of rain fell on Deniliquin over the course of the last day of August.

Weatherzone will report that 3.2mm fell as they count from 9am until 9am excluding the 0.4mm that fell between 8:50am and 9am and including 0.2mm that fell after midnight today.

The 3.4mm of rain was the highest daily total of rain for the month though the monthly total was roughly less than half of the average which was 33.5mm.

The rain did not all fall at once and hopefully that helped out local farmers when it comes to the land and also their water tanks as they would of received some much needed litres of water.
