Good Morning Readers,

Today will have a maximum temperature of 32 degrees with Mostly Sunny conditions and winds are expected to be up to around 20km/h in the Riverina.

The UV Index is expected to reach 12 (Extreme) and Fire Danger level is at Moderate.

Temperatures and the weather from tomorrow are the following

Sunday – Min 17 Max 35 (Sunny)

Monday – Min 19 Max 27 (Partly Cloudy)

Tuesday – Min 9 Max 26 (Sunny)

Wednesday – Min 10 Max 26 (Sunny)

Thursday – Min 10 Max 25 (Sunny)

Friday – Min 10 Max 27 (Mostly Sunny)

Work is being carried out outside of IGA after a sewer collapsed and the following will be happening over the coming days and weeks;

The usual entrances to IGA’s carpark are closed though a temporary entrance has been opened and is located at the northern end of the carpark off George St.

Make sure that you follow all signage when entering and parking in the IGA carpark as there are changes compared to the usual way that everybody goes and parks there.

The height of the Edward River as of 6am is 8.14m, it is down 14cm from the same time yesterday.

Keep an eye on the ERC FB page for information on what’s going to happen with all the sandbags etc.

The current advice (Friday) from the BoM is “The Edward River at Deniliquin is currently at 8.23 metres and falling, with moderate flooding. The Edward River at Deniliquin may remain above the moderate flood level (7.20 metres) through to mid December.”

Deniliquin TAFE is offering Free Taster nights from December 5 to 8, Places are limited so please contact Kim on 0477 521 623, it will be held at the Connected Learning Building and each night offers something new (see below)

Northern entrance to IGA carpark is closed
Southern entrance to IGA carpark is closed
Large excavation to possibly commence on Monday December 5.
Rear doors and back carpark will remain open on Charlotte St
Access to bottle shop via laneway behind bakery
Bakery access normal however parking may be limited
