Good Morning Readers,

Today will have a maximum temperature of 30 degrees with Partly Cloudy conditions and winds are expected to be up to around 25km/h in the Riverina.

The UV Index is expected to reach 11 (Extreme) and Fire Danger level is at Moderate.

Saturday – Min 15 Max 32 (Mostly Sunny)

Sunday – Min 17 Max 35 (Mostly Sunny)

Monday – Min 19 Max 35 (Partly Cloudy)

Tuesday – Min 15 Max 25 (Sunny)

Wednesday – Min 10 Max 25 (Sunny)

Thursday – Min 9 Max 24 (Mostly Sunny)

Work is being carried out outside of IGA after a sewer collapsed and the following will be happening over the coming days and weeks;

The usual entrances to IGA’s carpark are closed though a temporary entrance has been opened and is located at the northern end of the carpark off George St.

Make sure that you follow all signage when entering and parking in the IGA carpark as there are changes compared to the usual way that everybody goes and parks there.

The height of the Edward River as of 6am is 8.28m, it is down 13cm from the same time yesterday.

Keep an eye on the ERC FB page for information on what’s going to happen with all the sandbags etc.

The current advice (Wednesday) from the BoM is “The Edward River at Deniliquin peaked at 9.19 metres around 01:30 am Tuesday 22 November and is currently at 8.49 metres and falling, with moderate flooding. The Edward River at Deniliquin may remain above the moderate flood level (7.20 metres) through to mid December.”

The Community Christmas Party and Rotary’s Carols by Candlelight is on at Waring Gardens on December 16, make sure that your pets are safe and secure at 9pm as fireworks will be going off.
