George St due to the collapsed sewer is closed to traffic from Napier St to the IGA’s temporary access driveway.

Detour signs will be in place and excavation works will be commencing from today with the works expected to last 7 days but that can be subject to change.

The height of the Edward River as of 6am is 7.05m, it is down 22cm from the same time yesterday.

The Community Christmas Party and Rotary’s Carols by Candlelight is on at Waring Gardens on December 16, make sure that your pets are safe and secure at 9pm as fireworks will be going off.
