Both the Rams and the Rovers were in action today with the Rams playing Mulwala and the Rovers playing Picola United away.

In Soccer news, the Wanderers played today at Rotary Park against Yoogali FC and they won 4-1 to take their season to a 3-1 record.

In Rugby Union, the Drovers went down to Ag College 19-15 in their away game.

Below are the Football and Netball results separated into the categories of Rams Football, Rovers Football, Rams Netball and Rovers Netball.

Rams Football Results

Seniors lost 12.16 – 88 to 11.6 – 72
Reserves lost 10.10 – 70 to 4.6 – 30
Thirds lost 15.14 – 104 to 1.1 – 7
Fourths won 15.19 – 109 to 2.0 – 12

Rovers Football Results

Seniors lost 14.8 – 92 to 13.13 – 91
Reserves won 13.6 – 84 to 9.4 – 58
Thirds won 16.22 – 118 to 2.1 – 13
Fourths lost 6.6 – 42 to 4.2 – 26

Rams Netball Results

A Grade won 52 to 31
B Grade lost 43 to 35
C Grade won 46 to 45
C Res won 34 to 31
17 and Under won 52 to 24
15 and Under won 41 to 19
13 and Under won 27 to 14
11 and Under won 25 to 12

Rovers Netball Results

A Grade lost 52 to 47
B Grade won 41 to 21
C Grade lost 48 to 37
C Res won 36 to 20
17 and Under won 31 to 21
15 and Under won 31 to 18
13 and Under won 31 to 1

Conclusion

The Rams Football sides had a tough day against Mulwala winning only one of four matches.

Rams Netballers almost racked up a clean sweep losing only one match all day.

The Rovers Footballers had a mixed bag of results with two wins and two losses with the Seniors falling short by a point.

The Rovers netballers won the day with the junior teams all scoring 31, it is perhaps the strangest stat we’ve seen so far this year.
