Today is the 98th anniversary of the day that fighting in World War 1 stopped after four years of bloody conflict.
During this day we think of all the millions of lives that were lost and the millions more lives that were forever altered either by injuries sustained in the conflict or the loss of family and friends.
We think of all the other conflicts that have been fought throughout time and the ones that are being fought right now even as this piece is being put together.
We think of the welfare of those who have been in war and those who are currently in a combat situation or are preparing to be in a combat situation in the future.
Lastly we think about the prospect of peace throughout the world where nobody has to fight, nobody has to die or be injured and nobody has to live with the horrors of war, may all of this and more come true sooner rather than later.
