Deniliquin will be a bit of a busy place for the rest of the week as there are events going on for all to potentially enjoy.
The Waring Gardens will be having an outdoor screening of the multi award winning film ‘The Dressmaker’ on Thursday April 7 and the guests are Author Rosalie Ham and Film Producer Sue Maslin, the event is BYO chairs/blanket and food and people are advised to RSVP quickly on 1800 650 712.
As part of Youth Week, Deniliquin Youth Week is screening the movie ‘Inside Out’ at the Waring Gardens on April 8 at 6pm, Admission is $2 and it includes a serving of popcorn while drinks will be available to buy, seats and other comfortable items have be brought with you and further details can be found on the event page.
The Naponda Farmers Market is on this Saturday (April 9) at RSL Park which is located at the corner of Duncan Street and Junction Street, residents have the chance to pick up a variety of fresh produce at the Market that comes around on the first Saturday of every month.
Roslyn Lockhart’s solo art exhibition titled ‘Generations of Country, Our Land’ is closing at the Peppin Heritage Centre on Sunday April 10, residents and visitors can still check it out until then from between 9am and 4pm for just two dollars.
Michael Gorham will be playing an array of music in the Beer Garden of the Exchange from 12:30pm on Sunday April 10.
Lastly, there will be a Water Trading Workshop at the Crossing Café on Sunday April 10 between 10am and 12pm, RGA Environmental Projects Manager Neil Bull will be running the workshop to help people gain a greater understanding of how water trading works in the Murray Catchment area, for further details see the event page on Facebook.
