Today will have a maximum temperature of 31 degrees with Possible Shower conditions and winds are expected to be up to around 40km/h in the Riverina.

The UV Index is expected to reach 11 (Extreme) and the fire danger level is at High.

Free Waste Disposal Weekend is on December 6 and 7, 8:30am to 1pm at the Deniliquin Landfill.

Anything that usually goes in your red bin, green waste, White goods and furniture, up to 2 mattresses per household and one couch per household are acceptable.

Commercial or industrial waste, Tyres, Construction and demolition waste (this includes milled timber & timber cupboards) as well as Concrete are not acceptable.

The Marc Kingston Memorial Toy Run 2025 is on at Waring Gardens on December 6 at 8:30am, Deniliquin Salvation Army will be distributing all new donated toys.

Deniliquin Film Society is screening ‘Memoir of a Snail’ at Town Hall on December 12, membership to the society is $20 for three months, $30 for six months and $50 for a year, doors open at 6:30pm for a 7pm screening.

December 13 is the Naponda Farmers Market outside the Naponda Store from 8am.

The Community Christmas Party and Carols is on Friday December 19 at Waring Gardens from 6pm to 9pm.
