Deniliquin Rovers have had their lineups finalized for their A, B, C and C Reserve Grades Netball teams as well as all their juniors teams.
The Rovers sadly had no room for many more eager and talented Netballers who were hoping for spots in the teams, DNS hopes that those who did not find a place in the teams continue to practice and/or participate in any form of the game from social matches to mid-week competitions and try again next season.
The Rovers hit the road and travel Interstate to Murrabit, Victoria this weekend to play Cohuna in practice matches.
A Grade, B Grade, C Grade and the C Reserve Grade team as well as the U/13, U/15 and U/17’s will be in action against their Cohuna counterparts throughout the day.
The town of Murrabit is around 90 kilometres as the crow flies to the west of Deniliquin, the town has a population of around 330 people and is known for it’s popular market that attracts visitors from near and far.
The town of Cohuna is also located in Victoria and is around 74 kilometres as the crow flies to the south west of Deniliquin and has a population of around 2,300 people, their Football and Netball Club is nicknamed the Kangas and was established at the end of the 1996 season following a merger between the Cohuna and Union Football Clubs.
DNS will update readers on the results of the game as soon as it comes to hand.
